Anjali Sahay

Anjali Sahay, Ph.D. is an author, educator, leader, researcher, and performing artist who works at Gannon University as Professor of Political Science. Originally from India, Anjali moved to the United States to pursue her doctoral She has various publications including her book titled: Indian Diaspora in the United States: Brain Drain or Gain?  Passionate about serving AAPI communities in northwest Pennsylvania, she has served two terms on Governor Wolf’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs. In addition to Indian Association, she serves on the boards of Erie Art Museum, City of Erie New American Council, and Fulbright Board of the Western NY/NWPA to serve local diverse communities.

Manasi Dharmadhikari

For the past 17 years, Erie has been my home, where I live with my husband and two daughters. My professional journey in hospitality management has led me to my current role as Regional General Manager for Scott Enterprises, where I bring extensive experience in leadership, operations, and community engagement. I am passionate about fostering connections and giving back, particularly within Erie’s Indian community. Joining the India Association of Greater Erie is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our vibrant heritage, strengthen cultural ties, and promote understanding and unity across our diverse region. I look forward to working alongside others who share this commitment and contributing to a stronger, more connected community.

Devendra Patel

I have been living in Erie, PA since 2018. I grew up in India, worked my way up to medical school there in Gujarat and then decided to come to USA. I completed residency training in Maryland, where I met my wife - Leeza. I work as a hospitalist physician at Saint Vincent Hospital. I have two beautiful daughters, Ziana and Aarna. I love travel and sightseeing. On my spare time, you will find me reading news, mostly financial news or playing chess.
